A fine square piano by Mortimer, Anderson and Co, No 43 Hanover Street, Edinburgh. The case is made of a wonderfully figured mahogany, with six turned reeded legs and a sustaining pedal. It has generous rosewood crossbanding, a rosewood nameboard with inlaid brass stringing and is a most handsome instrument.
